ABSTRACT
The nursing role significantly changed following reforms in the nurse training process. Nowadays, nurses are increasingly trained to promote and improve quality of clinical practice provide support assistance patients communities. Opportunities threats emerging as a consequence introduction new disruptive technologies public health, which requires health care staff develop digital skills.The aim this paper is review define skills they asked master terms methodological approaches knowledge continuously evolving scenario that relies more on technology solutions.This scoping was conducted using thematic summary previous studies. Authors collected publications through cross-database search (PubMed, Web Science, Google Scholar) related telemedicine impacting nurses' role, considering time span 2011-2021 therefore including experiences first phase COVID-19 pandemic.The assessment completed between April July 2021. After search, authors reviewed selection 60 results obtained were organized into 5 macro areas: (1) leadership (nurses expected show capabilities when introducing practices, their pivotal coordinating various professional figures patient), (2) soft (new communication skills, adaptiveness, problem solving needed adapt interaction level (3) (specific subjects need be added boost adoption technological enabling professionals largely effectively use tools), (4) remote management or chronic during pandemic (a has proved fundamental community family systems adopting novel models at home enable decentralization services from hospitals territory), (5) interpersonal relationships with person-centered approach an open sensitive attitude seems even important framework where face-to-face session not possible nonverbal indicators problematic noticed).Further advancing readiness integrated approach, combination technical knowledge, abilities, skills.
