ABSTRACT
The development and quality assurance of perinatal eHealth self-monitoring systems is an upcoming area inquiry in health science. Building patient engagement into as a core component has potential to guide process evaluation. Access, 1 attribute engagement, the focus study here. Access programs influence pregnancy wellness outcomes. Little known about how pregnant users' ability obtain resources influenced by their own adaptive activities mediating during real-world testing these systems.Here, we examine access occurring adaptation use from sociomaterial perspective.In this mixed methods convergent evaluation design, interviewed women perceptions using system. Deductive analysis was conducted guided definition engagement. After initial qualitative quantitative data collection analysis, participants were spilt based on level system (physical wear time device). Content then according user group, conceptual matrix developed ontological perspectives sociomateriality.Pregnant mediation represent cocreation that resulted group-specific characteristics accessing high- low-use groups experienced different personal cocreation. Differences noted between groups, with high-use group giving attention developing skills recording interpreting discussing manual adding worked best for them when they used it mother tongue.A users identified, illustrating useful systems. Researchers clinicians can observe reasons why unique ways preferences, habits, values. Mediation necessary personalization
