ABSTRACT
Abstract Background Immune-mediated inflammatory diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis and spondyloarthritis, pose challenges due to recurrent flares gaps in patient monitoring. Traditional health care models often fail capture disease progression effectively. Objective This study aimed describes the structured cocreation of IMIDoc platform, an interdisciplinary initiative at improving monitoring, education, provider decision-making. Methods was cocreated through team involving clinical experts, biomedical engineers, technical developers, using user-centered design principles. The development process included identification unmet needs, app design, implementation medication management features, data recording capabilities, educational content. A 3-month feasibility functionality testing performed evaluate usability performance apption. Results During testing, 111 entries were logged for mobile app, comprising 76 errors identified corrected, 16 improvements addressing functionality, usability, performance, 10 evolutionary suggestions. professional interface received 45 entries, identifying 40 5 Ten iterative updates significantly enhanced user intuitiveness reminder aligning solution closely with workflows needs. Conclusions developed by a multidisciplinary methodology, shows potential improve immune-mediated diseases ithrough communication multicenter 360 patients across Spanish hospitals will further its impact.
