ABSTRACT
<sec> <title>BACKGROUND</title> The aging population in the Global North is associated with an increased prevalence of multiple chronic diseases that would benefit from integrated palliative care. In this context, it vital to consider effectiveness health care systems’ response needs older residing rural areas, including access services. Understanding program availability and system characteristics important creating useful interventions areas. </sec> <title>OBJECTIVE</title> This study aims provide international view on A exploring services offered Southern Minnesota will be carried out, building a previous conducted Osona, Spain. Findings both studies compared, providing insights into strengths each identifying areas for growth. <title>METHODS</title> performed using qualitative case methodology.
