ABSTRACT
<sec> <title>BACKGROUND</title> People with a low socioeconomic position (SEP) are less likely to benefit from eHealth interventions, exacerbating social health inequalities. Professionals developing interventions for this group face numerous challenges. A comprehensive guide support these professionals in their work could mitigate </sec> <title>OBJECTIVE</title> We aimed develop web-based the development, adaptation, evaluation, and implementation of people SEP. <title>METHODS</title> This study consisted 2 phases. The first phase involved secondary analysis previous qualitative quantitative studies. In phase, we synthesized insights studies guide’s content information structure. second used participatory design process. process included iterative development evaluation 11 who had experience both target group. test versions (prototypes) think-aloud testing combined semistructured interviews questionnaire identify requirements adapt accordingly. <title>RESULTS</title> resulted framework recommendations guide, which was categorized under 5 themes: reach, adherence, implementation. 16 on system, content, service aspects guide. For system category, required have an open navigation strategy leading more specific short pages visual elements. Content providing comprehensible information, scientific evidence, user perspective, practical applications, personal informal tone voice. Service improving suitability different professionals, ensuring long-term viability, focus Based requirements, developed final version “the inclusive guide.” <title>CONCLUSIONS</title> provides practical, user-centric tool aiming develop, adapt, evaluate, implement SEP, aim reducing disparities population. Future research should investigate its end-user goals, external validity, applicability contexts, real-world impact inequality.
