The association between social media use and cognitive function among older adults: systematic review (Preprint)

<sec> <title>BACKGROUND</title> Using social media is among the most common activity of adults and older people. Social provides people a new way to communicate with their friends, children, grandchildren; receive provide support; have access knowledge entertainment. However, does use led changes in cognitive function are not well understood currently. </sec> <title>OBJECTIVE</title> This study aimed systematically review what association between adults. <title>METHODS</title> PubMed, Web Science, Embase, PsycINFO, Google Scholar, CNKI, Wang Fang, CBM were searched from inception until October 31, 2023. The inclusion criteria that had be published peer-reviewed journals written English Chinese, full-text availability, target general aged 55 years or older, assessed any kinds exposure function.
