ABSTRACT
Testis torsion is a surgical emergency, and sometimes we cannot sufficiently prevent injury even detorsion of the testis performed in appropriate time period due to some reasons such as tissue edema. In this experimental study, investigated effect tunica albuginea incision (TAI) on testicular torsion-detorsion model (TDM).Twenty four male rats were used. The randomly divided into three groups. Group I, (TT) 720° was created. After 4 hours period, detorsioned. Then longitudinal incisions made testis. II, created by same way but TAI not added procedure. III Sham group. At end first week, groups sacrificed testes harvested for histological, immunohistological examinations assessment apoptotic activity. In procedures led partial improvement color testes. Modified Johnsen Scores Groups II detected 7.8, 4.3 9.6 respectively (P = .001). immunoreactivity anti-APAF-1 moderate 7 rats, strong 1 rat. Immunoreactivity anti-cytochrome C anti-caspase3 6 2 rats. anti-caspase 8 9 5 3 differences between statistically significant. TUNEL percentages 40, 62% 60% 11,75% .001).As result, multiple after TDM decrease amount ischemia- reperfusion injury. This might be related with edema free oxygen radicals together increase perfusion. Moreover, decreased activity seems play role inflammatory response preservation parenchyma consequently.
