ABSTRACT
This study aims to analyze the effects of airline deregulation policies in Japan. Since 1986, rigid regulation has been relaxed by allowing carriers enter into new flight segments, abolishing demand and supply control, relaxing fare restriction so on. Many studies have evaluated policies, however, most them are based on qualitative approach. As aresult this study, it is found that brought competition market a profit passenger. In particular, multi-tracking operation revision Aviation Law airfare reduction, introduction range-airfare system reduced disparity full among segments.
