ABSTRACT
The PBL methodology has been widely used in teaching-learning processes. This more frequent cases which the entire structure of course starts to fully comply and operate under guidance ABP. However, due its applicability can be adapted educational processes a restricted scope involving disciplines. is case present experience that put into practice “Extensão Rural” discipline two classes Medicina Veterinária graduate at UFRPE. “problems” were introduced SV1 SV2 by professor related “effectiveness herbal medicines controlling worms” “conflicts relationship between veterinarian animal tutor”, respectively. students divided groups 8 up 10 members, with their respective coordinators secretaries. 4 5 meetings held weekly, except for individual research assessment application new knowledge problem, took three weeks. studies ABP revealed control verminoses effective use medicines, as long they are correct hygienic management.
