ABSTRACT
The analysis of genetic relationship among traditional glutinous rice varieties is crucial for management, conservation, and the development new varieties. experiment was conducted from 2023 to 2024 in Duc Pho district, Quang Ngai province, Vietnam assess agro-morphological characteristics diversity 106 study used 48 polymorphic SSR markers calculate information content (PIC). Cluster collection then using a similarity matrix Unweighted Pair-Group Method with Arithmetic Mean (UPGMA). results revealed total 193 alleles, an average 4.02 alleles per locus. PIC values ranged 0.33 0.87, 0.61. coefficients 0.41 0.98. Based on UPGMA molecular data NTSYS-pc 2.11a software, were grouped into two major clusters, indicating differences. In addition, exhibited relatively wide range growth time most belonging short-day medium-day groups. They displayed medium-to-high plant heights, medium-to-long panicle lengths, 1000-grain weights ranging high extra-high. correlation coefficient showed that all traits correlated each other, yield being strongly weight. Therefore, research findings not only provide essential starting material high-quality, high-yield but also contribute conservation promotion Ngu genotype, which closely associated Sa Huynh cultural heritage.
