Pharmacogenomics Education in Medical and Pharmacy Schools: Conclusions of a Global Survey

ABSTRACT
Aim: The need for pharmacogenomic education is becoming more and urgent. Our aim was to evaluate the progress in pharmacogenomics since then, put forward further recommendations. Methods: A survey sent 248 schools of medicine, pharmacy, nursing health professions around world. Results: majority study programs (87%) include education, which generally taught as part pharmacology curriculum. On average, educators teachers have selected appropriate highly relevant biomarkers their teaching programs. Conclusions: Based on results, we can conclude that state at surveyed universities has improved substantially 2005.
