ABSTRACT
Biofluorescence is the fluorescent glow in blue, green, and red colors that organisms emit when exposed to blue or ultra-violet light. This phenomenon has been documented different animal groups, most recent finding being amphibians. The function of biofluorescence amphibians still unknown, although it hypothesized may be associated with sexual selection, communication, visual acuity. In this work, we described patterns for six species anurans occurring Isthmian Central America. Likewise, five did not react fluorescence stimulus light are also mentioned. Because some works there inconsistencies regarding presence absence between species, recommend use 440–460 nm a yellow #12 filter, which have successfully tested detection
