ABSTRACT
A faunistic survey of the Odonata from San Javier, Sonora, was undertaken during 7 months between November 2003 and October 2004. total 1012 specimens were collected belonging to families, 27 genera, 52 species. The family Libellulidae most diverse with 23 species, followed by Coenagrionidae (16), Gomphidae (5) Aeshnidae (4). least families Lestidae (2), Calopterygidae (1) (1). genus Argia dominant one 10 species Enallagma 4. This diversity this small area is outstanding, 42.6% all recorded for state Sonora.
