ABSTRACT
Dental pulp stem cells (DPSCs) are multipotent derived from neural crest and mesenchyme have the capacity to differentiate into multiple cell lineages. It has already been demonstrated that DPSCs melanocyte-like but only when cultivated in a specific melanocyte differentiating medium. In this study we shown, for first time, capable of spontaneously mature melanocytes, which display molecular ultrastructural features full development, including expression markers presence melanosomes up terminal stage maturation. We also compared grown different culture conditions, following timing differentiation at cytochemical levels found all conditions development these was obtained, although times. The spontaneous potential strongly suggests their possible applications regenerative medicine.
