ABSTRACT
In this study we aimed to promote Chinese public sector development and reduce the difficulty of management motivation knowledge workers (k-workers) in sector. We investigated if servant leadership influences leader–member exchange (LMX) k- workers’ LMX their task performance, as well examining mediating role organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). collected questionnaires from 383 k-workers 10 sectors via a self-administered survey, used partial least squares structural equation modeling for data analysis. Results show that had positive relationship with LMX, was positively related OCB effect LMX–task performance relationship. Our results have theoretical implications, our practical suggestions managing, motivating, inspiring will help
