ABSTRACT
Palladium-based catalyst has been widely employed in electro-Fenton process for in-situ generation of H2O2. However, the selectivity to H2O2 achieved so far is still below application level. In this work, a series Cl-FePd/γ-Al2O3/Al catalysts were prepared by three-step-impregnation method, exhibiting excellent activity synthesis and high efficiency phenol degradation. The characterization results showed that Cl could assist increasing content Pd0 reducing isoelectric point catalyst, leading dramatic promotion Moreover, theoretical calculation kinetics further demonstrated doping facilitate main reaction synthesis, as well inhibit side reactions, including dissociation O-O bond, hydrogenation decomposition. Furthermore, plausible mechanism degradation pathways elaborated based on ESR GC-MS results. These findings illustrate value palladium-based its process.
