ABSTRACT
Purpose: This study aimed to examine the concept of soundscape through its ecological, social, and cultural characteristics, exploring value as a local resource strategizing utilization region-specific resource. highlighted significance soundscapes resources, emphasizing their integration with regional assets proposing strategies for expansion future use enhance interaction. Methods: The was conducted field research focus group interviews (FGI) at National Center Forest Therapy, Daegwallyeong, targeting six activists in arts sector from August 2, 2021, December 20, 2021. explored potential connections between based on theoretical considerations. Results: findings revealed connectivity resources soundscapes. Soundscapes interact history, traditions, activities communities, suggesting that they can serve unique tourism content enhances region's identity competitiveness, offering various uses value.
