ABSTRACT
Tracked forwarders is one of the solutions for forest soils with poor bearing capacity providing ability to use well-known technology reasonable cost improve accessibility resources.Tracked are not common in nowadays and only a few models produced serially. The ProSilva F2/2 new middle-class forwarder, whose frontal tracks replaced big tires, ensuring large contact surface, increased mobility machine significantly reduced mass without loosing load (15 tonnes). The aim study was evaluate productivity, soil impact roundwood forwarding using F2/2.The conducted Finland.Productivity (time per crane cycle, split into operations loads), size, depth ruts compaction were estimated during study.According results, average productivity 16 m 3 hour (driving distance landing site 200 m, driving speed 2.8 km h -1 , 9.7 ).The can be by more efficient utilization gripper tilt function. The length on peat (56 ha ) do exceed permitted threshold values Latvia. The took place mainly topsoil, no changes density observed deeper layers. The prime according preliminary estimates 2.5 € -3 if annual production at least 62000 .Utilization rate important keep low.
