ABSTRACT
Superabsorbents are hydrophilic polymers that can absorb large amounts of water. These studies show the use superabsorbent may significantly reduce negative effects drought stress on plants. However, their in field cultivation has so far been minimal. The price hydrogels recently decreased significantly. This was reason for starting research described this work, which experimental plant winter wheat cultivar 'Lucullus' -the cereal is most intensively cultivated Poland. The experiment conducted years 2014 -2016, Agricultural Experimental Station (AES) Osiny, Poland, 4 repetitions.TerrahydrogelAqua evaluated following doses: 1) control without hydrogel, 2) 10, 3) 20 and 4) 30 kg•ha -1 .Before harvesting, samples were taken to determine yield structure elements. After grain at 15% moisture content determined. The influence hydrogel varied individual years. On average, from treatment with a dose higher than or 10 hydrogel. The mean values features, i. e. ear weight thousand highest effect average number plants ears per unit area grains not found.
