ABSTRACT
Antifungal activity of two essential oils, cinnamon (Cinnamomum verum J. Presl) and clove (Syzygium aromaticum (L.) Merrill & Perry), was evaluated against Cladobotryum dendroides (Bull.) W. Gams Hooz, Lecanicillium fungicola var. (Preuss) Hasebrauk, the causal agents cobweb dry bubble disease cultivated mushroom. Inhibitory fungicidal selected oils assayed using three methods: microdilution, macrodilution fumigant contact method. Comparing all methods, oil showed stronger than both fungi, having minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) at lowest concentrations tested (1.56, 0.02 0.1 ?l ml-1, respectively). However, more toxic to L. then C. in methods. Both exhibited antifungal effects when used The results that have potential for further vivo experiments indicated a possible use these integrated management mushrooms.
