ABSTRACT
During the summer of 1939 a series samples was taken in deeper part Irondequoit Bay as general Biological Survey Lake Ontario Watershed conducted by New York Conservation Department (Tressler and Austin, 1940). The results this mid-August sampling indicated high degree productivity extreme stagnation conditions, which prompted continuation these studies during following year. An extensive program independent investigation begun September continued at monthly intervals until June 1940, when all three authors moved permanently from state consequence work had to be discontinued. present paper deals with seasonal cycle bay August 15, 1939, 13, 1940.
