ABSTRACT
That Czech nationalism was the mainspring of Hussite movement has long been an article faith among those concerning themselves with history that protean wave reform which swept over Central Europe a full century before Protestant Reformation. It is not intent this paper to quarrel fundamental assumption. The assumption has, however, corollary, namely because Hussites were prima facie nationalists and patently anti-German, Hussitism could by definition consequently did take root in Germanic lands bordering upon Bohemia. An attempt will be made here examine priori position light some empirical researches into Lands Austrian Crown first half fifteenth century.
