ABSTRACT
In this paper, by combining PID control with non-linear control and anthropomorphic intelligence, a novel intelligent non-linear PID controller is proposed, and its structure and control algorithm are presented in detail. It is a parameter adaptive and self-configuration controller that has larger proportional action and smaller integral action as the deviation is greater, or smaller proportional action and larger integral action as the deviation is smaller. Simulation studies show that proposed controller has the advantages of short settling time, small overshoot and fast response relatively. The new controller can improve the dynamic performance and strengthen the robustness of the hydro-turbine governing systems.
