ABSTRACT
The transfer of research results into production systems requires, among other things, to make these explicit and understandable for stakeholders. Many researchers have been studying means favour knowledge acquisition on the behalf stakeholders using not only scientific papers. In fact, papers limitations in transferability reusability owing to: size that do permit all necessary be exploited; structure contents heterogeneity could cause conflicts; redundancy incoherence between dealing with same topic. We therefore propose concept Knowledge Experience Package (KEP) contains both conceptual “model(s) which up innovation, including documentation ranging from or book chapters, the” [42] appropriately structured experience acquired business processes. KEP model has implemented a Base (KEB) called PROMETHEUS. principal goal this work is assess whether transferred by KEP, delivered PROMETHEUS, adds comprehensibility A controlled experiment was carried out 14 IT professionals contracted projects led Alarcos group at University Castilla-La Mancha (Spain), whom degrees Computer Science. comprehension analyzed three different perspectives: semantic comprehension, retention transfer. evidence collected permits us state increases ability retain significant manner than occurs only. encouraged carry further studies order refine structure, although we are conscious should considered as preliminary.
