ABSTRACT
Downwash effect is the interaction between rotor wake and a launched rocket. Since alters initial motion of rocket, comprehensive analysis crucial in predicting entire trajectory range In addition, external winds affect as alter downwash effect. Because affected ranges do not appear to be investigated sufficiently, this study aims reveal variance characteristics focusing on winds. Using an actuator model six-degrees-of-freedom analysis, trajectories rocket due are described. The unguided for 3,000-lb class helicopter, flow field database analyzed using CFD method while considering wind effects. It concluded that effective angle attack region varies along direction, final reach also changes accordingly. particular, increased significantly when rear blown out. However, constant after specified speed acceleration.
