ABSTRACT
We investigated the effect of dental anxiety and visiting habits, as well various socio-demographic variables, on oral health-related quality life (OHQoL) among subjects aged 15-54 years living in Udaipur district, India. The total sample size was 1235 individuals a stratified cluster sampling procedure employed to collect representative sample. Dental were assessed using Corah scale OHQoL-UK(W) questionnaire, respectively. majority female older showed higher than their male younger counterparts. Stepwise linear regression analysis revealed that best predictors were, descending order, occupation, gender education, which provided variance 10.3%. Females more likely have poor OHQoL males. had significant influence OHQoL, people with high being 2.34 times present those having low anxiety. Furthermore, it found who never visited dentist an odds ratio 1.62 for relative within last 12 months. differed significantly age practices, impact after controlling other variables.
