ABSTRACT
To examine trends in nontraumatic lower-extremity amputations (LEAs) over an 8-year period patients with and without diabetes Spain.We identified all who underwent LEA using national hospital discharge data. Discharges were grouped by status: type 1 diabetes, 2 no diabetes. The incidence of discharges attributed to calculated overall stratified status year.
