ABSTRACT
We investigated the association between functional health literacy and markers of pregnancy preparedness in women with pregestational diabetes.English- Spanish-speaking pregnant diabetes were recruited. Women completed Test Functional Health Literacy Adults (TOFHLA) short form a questionnaire. A TOFHLA score < or =30 was defined as low literacy.Of 74 participating study, 16 (22%) classified having literacy.
