ABSTRACT
The aim of this study was to evaluate the efficacy three desensitizing agents provide relief dentin hypersensitivity after one session in a four-week follow-up. Forty selected patients participated double-blind following split-mouth model. One application (A, Admira Protect [Voco]; B, Bifluorid 12 and C, Colgate Pro-Relief office [Colgate Palmolive]) performed different quadrants for each patient. Each tooth evaluated by tactile evaporative stimuli, sensitivity response measured using Visual Analogue Scale. Evaluations were at baseline, immediately treatment, one, two, three, four weeks. Kruskal-Wallis Dunn multiple comparisons tests (5%) both stimuli showed that all presented significant effect. In groups A B maintained weeks, respectively, as stimulus weeks with stimulus. effect group C two stimuli. It is concluded tested effective reducing compared baseline values. longer-lasting than did (applied office) on
