The development of increasingly advanced technology certainly also affects developments in the world sports. emergence sports or better known as Esports is one most pronounced influences technological today. In Indonesia, has been recognized by inaugurating PBESI (Indonesian Executive Board) 2020. Even though a new sport inaugurated, there are still many problems related to this Esports. faced include: questions about why included sports, people's views on Esports, understanding what and how it differs from games, impact This study aims get deeper picture information sport, especially paradigms, limits, opportunities challenges Indonesia. type research qualitative with an exploratory descriptive approach. used purposive sampling techniques. participants involved were 12 people consisting 3 West Sumatra ESI administrators, 2 athletes, 1 lecturer, game players, 4 community members (business people, parents, teachers lecturers, health workers). results show that sport. lack makes difference games have certain restrictions, where indeed but not all
