ABSTRACT
Values affect humans’ perception of situations and problems guide our actions. The objective this study was to explore the values dairy farmers, whether their influenced decisions maintain farming or buy consultancy services. During late fall 2007 we visited interviewed 90 farmers. First did a qualitative analysis data then merged interview with existing database financial from year do statistical analyses. We also checked farmers still produced milk in 2013, six years after interviews. Most had terminal like keeping up tradition have an interesting work. Value combinations instrumental such as earn money produce were common. Realizing that many prioritize over has important consequences for companies, consultants politicians.
