ABSTRACT
Objective: It is known that intravenous thrombolytic therapy in ischemic stroke beneficial selected patients who arrived within the first 4.5 hours after onset of symptoms and effectiveness treatment depends on early arrival to hospital. The more hospital this time zone, they will have chance receive therapy. This study aims investigate factors cause delay with Methods: Patients diagnosed acute applied neurology outpatient clinic emergency room between February May 2019 were included study. A direct interview survey was conducted or relatives Bursa Yuksek Ihtisas Training Research Hospital due stroke. According symptoms, classified as ( hours) late (> hours). Based grouping, causing patients' access compared statistically. Results: total 251 / patient interviewed. Of study, 119 (47.4%) female mean age 70 (34-94) years. Approximately 72.5% 4.5-hour slice symptoms. Factors determined being female, having low NIHSS score not using ambulance transportation. Conclusion: Due 27.5% patients, there no apply eligible ones. resulting discovered gender, severity transportation without ambulance. In respect, community-oriented trainings are required.
