ABSTRACT
This paper introduces and discusses the study of a new concept for SIW array antenna development. conducted development is based on three designs, two them related to 1x2 arrays fed by line, combined with inset last designed 2X2 feed line. All these structures are give dual-band at (Ku - K) bands enhanced gain bandwidth. The 2x2 has high gain, it consists four cavities staggered patches 90° phase shift, which using microstrip line shielded vias. designs were full-wave simulator ANSYS HFSS frequency domain solver. gives return loss about (-20 dB), 9.05 dB, bandwidth equals 210 MHz 1310 respectively both operating bands. To validate simulated results simulation was again time-domain solver CST Microwave Studio (MWS) simulator. Simulation obtained from software having different solvers in good agreement results.
