ABSTRACT
The current study aimed to detect parasites in Hatay Mountain Gazelles (Gazella gazella), which are categorized as endangered according the International Union for Conservation of Nature. present was conducted Gazelle Wildlife Development Area, where 40 gazelles inhabited (30 ♀, 10 ♂), 15 were over three years old well-considered adults. Fecal samples taken from 60 fecal foci immediately after defecation gazelles. Each analysed with Benedek sedimentation, Fülleborn flotation and Bearman-Wetzel methods examined under a light microscope. In addition, Ixodid ticks collected an injured gazelle brought Mustafa Kemal University, Rescue Rehabilitation Center, then identified stereomicroscope. Nematodirus spp. (5/60, 8%), Marshallagia (4/60, 7%), Trichostrongylus (3/60, 5%) eggs, Dictiyocaulus filaria larvae Eimeria oocysts (9/60, 15%) determined based on microscopic examination. tick Rhipicephalus turanicus (2 3 ♂). Thus this is first report existence Turkey. It thought that skin examinations should be performed prevent parasitic diseases
