ABSTRACT
The young Muslim generation’s embracing digital platforms for Zakat payments represents a dynamic fusion of enduring religious values with the modern landscape, heralding new era in Islamic charitable practices. This trend illustrates profound transformation within world, where pillars faith are being reimagined and revitalized through lens technological advancement. present study delved into factors influencing preference transactions across Indonesia Malaysia. We examined variables such as Performance Expectancy, Effort Social Influence, Trust, Literacy, Digital Infrastructure, aiming to discern their impact on propensity contributions extension Unified Theory Acceptance Use Technology (UTAUT) model. research encompassed diverse sample 382 participants utilized advanced methodologies, specifically Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) PLS Multi Group Analysis (PLS-MGA), rigorous data analysis. results indicated that Literacy notably influenced use Zakat. Furthermore, PLS-MGA uncovered significant cross-country differences Infrastructure showed more pronounced positive Malaysian context, whereas Influence had greater effect Indonesia. These findings offer critical insights community’s engagement financial obligations, underscoring need tailored solutions cater unique preferences this demographic. not only enriches understanding adoption practices but also challenges notion universal approach, advocating context-specific strategies realm services. Future researchers suggested consider longitudinal investigations well examining cross-regional contexts research.
