ABSTRACT
Soil quality represents the ability of soil to secure environmental functions in a particular way using it. Health expresses protection and increasing biological productivity, health promotion all living forms, including humans. This study presents results long-term monitoring evaluation selected parameters terms sustainable land use marginal areas northeastern Slovakia During 1997–2013 (48º57'N, 20°05'E). Physical (bulk density, porosity), chemical (pH, anorganic nitrogen, available phosphorus, potassium, magnesium organic carbon content) (soil enzyme activity – urease, alkaline acid phosphatase) properties heavy metal content (Cd, Pb Ni) were monitored statistically evaluated. The show that assessing pollution microbial (activity enzymes) appear be useful. These rapidly respond stress can lead changes physical leading early detection degradation.
