ABSTRACT
The studies were conducted from 2012 to 2015 at the National Institute of Horticultural Research in Skierniewice, Poland. The aim research was determine yield Chinese cabbage, its storage ability and nutritional value, depending on weed management methods used during cultivation. In field experiments following compared: mechanical treatments, treatments + growth stimulators, soil mulching with black polypropylene, polyethylene biodegradable foil hand weeding. After harvest cabbage stored 0-2°C for 125-126 days year after marketable rotten heads sorted. The percent yellowed, leaves total mass also determined, as well natural weight loss. The chemical composition analyzed storage. The analyses included: dry matter, sugars, vitamin C soluble phenol content. After highest grown mulch obtained. After mechanically weeded additional application biostimulator AlfaMax cultivation obtained.Chemical showed that sugars content found phenols non-weeded cabbage. After matter recorded while mulched foil.Vitamin hand-weeded cabbage.
