ABSTRACT
Soil erosion in the Nangka watershed has always been a matter of concern. Over last decade, soil led to continuous environmental problems. A thorough examination extent problem was required identify an appropriate conservation strategy within watershed. This study conducted observe rates and map out hazard level. Erosion predictions were analysed by using Revised Universal Loss Equation (RUSLE) model with help ArcGIS software. RUSLE selected because its quantitative ability estimate average annual compatibility GIS interface. The potential classified ranked into five class categories as set national authority. results reveal that is prone values ranging from 1.33 Mg·ha –1·y –1 2472.29 –1. High 9.8% are severe (class IV) very V) conditions, primarily upper course low I II), which accounted for 75.95% total erosion, mostly took place steepness below 35%. remaining area 14.25% moderate condition III). It expected this will authority implementation measures.
