ABSTRACT
Myocardial bridging is a common congenital abnormality of coronary artery, and usually thought to be benign anatomical variant. Although rare, previous studies have reported that patients with myocardial may suffer from ischemia, infarction (MI), arrhythmias even sudden death. Here we report the case an 18-year-old adolescent athlete resulting in MI. Coronary angiography revealed 80% luminal narrowing by systolic compression proximal mid segments left anterior descending which returned normal during diastole. We considered heavy sports might potential trigger for his MI attack. Therefore, special attention should paid this kind athlete, especially if adolescent.
