ABSTRACT
Summary Fifteen dogs with nasal aspergillosis were treated ketoconazole (5 mg/kg of body weight, q 12 h, po ) for 2 to 18 weeks. Four whose conditions deteriorated during treatment received less than the prescribed 6 Six months or more later, only 47% determined be disease-free, on basis no fungal growth culture. It was concluded that at this dosage is a useful canine aspergillosis, but effective thiabendazole.
