ABSTRACT
In order to clarify the creep-fatigue damage process and evaluate life for boiler 2.25Cr-1Mo header stub welds, a series of tests were performed on partial mock-up specimens actual plant under simulated loading conditions.Creep voids micro-cracks occurred along weld toes at an early stage grew form many short cracks. These cracks both surface through wall tube later coalesced one crack. It was proved that there correlation between maximum crack depth ratio also length surface. A prediction method proposed based these two correlations.
