ABSTRACT
Abstract This paper presents the preliminary results of a study phytoplankton structure and dynamics physicochemical properties Lake Swarzędzkie in 2011. The subject is shallow, elongated, post-glacial lake located western Poland. surface area 93.7 ha with maximum depth 7.2 m. Its poor water quality led to implementation chemical biological restoration procedures an attempt improve it. highest concentration total nitrogen was 13.07 mg l -1 N. Secchi (SD) low summer minimum value 0.5 m September. most abundant group were cyanobacteria, chlorophyll 278.0 μg . dominant species Pseudanabaena limnetica Aphanizomenon gracile. Cyanobacteria until November. Maximum diatom, cryptophyte, chrysophyte density noted spring, Nitzschia acicularis, Cryptomonas marssonii, Rhodomonas lacustris, Erkenia subaequiciliata, Dinobryon sociale. One-hundred thirty-six taxa belonging nine taxonomic groups identified Swarzędzkie. number among chlorophytes (57 taxa), cyanobacteria (19), diatoms (16), chrysophytes (12), while other represented by smaller taxa.
