ABSTRACT
Abstract Finite control set ModelPredictive (FCS-MPC) with the principle of considering all voltage vectors to find optimal vector for multilevel inverter in a very small sampling cycle is hardly feasible because there no modulation part, implementation optimizing common-mode and switching number should be performed cost function. To solve above problem, this paper proposes an improved method model predictive current selecting 19 adjacent using weighting coefficients elimination optimization. By discrete-time system predict future value previous its 18 vectors, one that minimizes function will selected. Thus, any levels, only times cycle. The computation on FPGA allows calculations parallel, so executing time small. feasibility proposed algorithm verified by simulation MATLAB-simulink software experimental 11-level cascaded H-bridge model.
