ABSTRACT
Abstract The contribution of Green Infrastructure (GI) in vital areas such as regional development, climate change, agriculture, forestry and environmental protection is already acknowledged listed one the priorities several key EU policies, basis for Strategy. However, concept not yet fully integrated into actual planning strategies, this respect Czech Republic no different. A major problem doing so a lack guidelines/ how to identify map GI using available sources thus keeping costs down. existing data land cover or use often do fulfil requirements terms thematic coverage, resolution accuracy. In order work around limitations, we analyse use/land from perspective. Furthermore, propose mapping methodology based on diagnosis three approaches at level, grounded utilisation processing different sets. We compared maps European CORINE Land Cover Database, national database called Consolidated Layer Ecosystems (CLE) combination manual vectorization. Our results show that suitable transnational scale but unsuitable scale.
