ABSTRACT
Bovine papillomatosis affects animal health and represents one of the greatest economic losses in livestock sector. New control prevention methods to protect industry from this disease are necessary. The aim study was evaluate a candidate peptide for antibody production against bovine papillomavirus (BPV).A total 64 cattle underwent wart excision among 5,485 distributed over 2 4 farms per state 12 four Mexican states Tabasco, Chiapas, Veracruz, Nuevo León. prevalence farm calculated by visualisation. warts were genotyped PCR sequenced, then phylogenetic tree built using MEGA X software. A synthetic designed ABCpred, Bepipred 2.0, IDBT, Bepitope, LBtope, MHC II predictor online server software's based on C-terminal region L1 protein. Mice induced subcutaneous immunisation with 50 μg evaluated indirect ELISA.The BPV higher Veracruz. papillomaviruses 1 found all representative samples. showed that sequences located exclusive clades yet highly related international ones. titres : 10,000/1 1,000,000 whole lysate (WWL), respectively.Co-infections BPV-1 -2 states. Immunisation BALB/C mice BPV-1/2-derived major viral capsid protein specific antibodies able recognise BPV-1/2 particles WWL.
