Analysis of the Survey Results on the Pro-Ecological Awareness of Young People in the Aspect of Sustainable Development

Abstract The objective of this paper is to propose effective methods implement sustainable development principles among young people, both in schools and universities. authors article recognize the significant potential individuals whose actions choices have a substantial impact on environment. By analyzing knowledge behaviors people towards environmental protection, based surveys conducted pupils students from south-eastern region Poland, identifies gaps that require improvement proposes aimed at raising pro-ecological awareness youth. analysis revealed only 25% respondents heard about “Agenda for Sustainable Development – 2030”, 20% were familiar with goals development, few participated initiatives development. However, 58% claimed engage activities protection their daily lives. also presents degree compliance assumptions 2030 Agenda global local scales.
