Pilot study of patient and phantom breast dose measurements in Bulgaria A pilot on two mammography units was conducted. The mean glandular doses (MGDs) to samples approximately 60 women per unit were measured. MGD with a standard PMMA measured as well. MGDs calculated according the European protocol dosimetry well for quality control physical technical aspects screening. women's divided into three groups depending compressed thicknesses. results group thicknesses interval 40-60 mm compared from 45 phantom.
