ABSTRACT
Early post-liver transplant (LT) acute kidney injury (AKI) has been associated with worse short-term and long-term outcomes, but the incidence risk factors in our population are unknown. We designed a prospective, singlecenter, longitudinal cohort study to determine of AKI during immediate postoperative period LT, identify after LT. Pre-operative intraoperative variables were analyzed if there was any correlation development post-operative AKI.Eighty-six patients included final analysis; from them, 45 (52%) developed following 30 days The presence hepatic encephalopathy prior LT factor most strongly (Relative Risk 3.67, 95% Confidence Interval 1.08-8.95). Other male gender higher serum lactate surgery.AKI frequent complication that significantly worsened prognosis recipients an increased 30-day mortality rate. predicted severe AKI.
