ABSTRACT
Objective: The intensity of pain after surgical treatment hip fracture has a negative effect on functional recovery. However, the effects acute postoperative recovery walking ability surgery remain unclear. This study aimed to investigate association between and gait among patients who had independent prior fracture. Methods: was an observational that included 41 with mean age 81.3±7.3 years underwent for traumatic at general hospital. primary outcome time postsurgery. Based median recovery, were classified into early group group. Stepwise logistic regression analysis performed identify predictive factors walking. Results: 24 days (range, 7–50 days). In total, 20 in 21 On analysis, total intensity, reported during activities daily living (ADL) 5 6, knee extensor strength Conclusions: degree function surgically treated found be predicted by measured ADL assessed phase. Effective management may help improve gait.
