ABSTRACT
Ledum palustre shoots (Cormus Ledi palustri) hase long been used as an antispasmodic, diuretic, diaphoretic, disinfectant, anti-inflammatory, sedative and antitussive remedy in folk medicine. The most studied are terpene compounds, they component of essential oil, medicine "Ledin" with effect was developed on their basis, While the polysaccharide complex this plant is almost not studied. aim our research investigation (PSC) obtained from determination its pharmacological activities. PSC prepared by adding 96% ethyl alcohol to concentrated aqueous extract material. yield 2.60 0.07%, term absolutely dry raw dynamic polysaccharides yields determined. D-glucose, D-Galactose, L- rhamnose L-arabinose were identified hydrolyzate PSC. amount monosaccharides glucose equivalent determined 43.25±0.80%. Anti-inflammatory activity a model acute carrageenan induced paw edema rats. showed anti-inflammatory at dose 50 mg / kg decreased 84% compared controls. Study antibacterial performed using agar diffusion. antimicrobial against all microorganisms, except Candida albicans. maximum growth inhibition observed Escherichia.coli - 36 mm. investigations indicate prospects substance confirmed ability create basis it new drugs activity.
